How to Enrol

Programme Content

PDCC guides adolescents to foster long-term relationship with private dentists or dentists of NGOs by subsidising part of the cost of dental check-up, so as to promote their life-long habit of regular dental check-ups for prevention of dental diseases. The Government will provide a partial subsidy of $200 annually.

Target Beneficiaries (1) Adolescent aged 13 to 17 (or will be aged 13 in the calendar year the application to enrol is made. A person will cease to be eligible once he/she reaches the age of 18); (2) Holds a valid Hong Kong Identity Card; and (3) Has joined the Electronic Health System (eHealth).

Scope of Subsidised Services including dental check-ups, oral health risk assessment, dental scaling, personalised self-care advice on oral care, fluoride application as risk-based follow-up and check-up report.

On the Appointment Date

  1. Registered with eHealth*
  2. Original copy of the identity document
  3. Completed   (a) Application and Consent Form
    (b) Oral Health Questionnaire

*Remark: For eligible person aged below 16, a substitute decision maker (SDM) should register eHealth for him/her. For the application of eHealth, please refer to the eHealth website or call the eHealth general public hotline: (852) 3467 6300.
